'GreyMeadow' started as a dream to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to Rome. The venture, set up by the Bianchi family in 1985, was a modest local shop with generational recipes.
Marco Bianchi, our pioneer, mastered the pizza craft in her Italian explorations, especially in Naples, where pizza was first created. When she came back to the UK, she resolved to reproduce the special Italian pizza taste, adhering to classic crafting techniques and choosing top-tier ingredients.
Our pizzeria began as a humble 12-seat venue and has evolved into a cherished community spot. Our dedication to crafting quality pizzas remains fixed. We continue traditional wood-fired oven baking, prepare our dough from scratch daily, and select the finest materials available.
Today, 'GreyMeadow' is still in the hands of our family, led by the second generation of the Bianchi lineage. While we've adopted some new techniques, our core objective of making enjoyable, genuine pizzas that unite people stands strong.
